Baden-Württemberg: smoldering fire in the industrial area - one slightly injured

Bruchsal (dpa / lsw) - A smoldering fire in an industrial area in Bruchsal (Karlsruhe district) triggered a major fire brigade operation. A firefighter suffered mild smoke inhalation and was taken to a hospital for observation, a police spokesman said on Saturday. The fire broke out in a battery development company. The population was not endangered because of the incident. "We assume a technical cause," said the police spokesman. So far there has been no evidence of unauthorized action.
