Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - An apparently spontaneous meeting paralyzed some of the traffic in the city center in Karlsruhe. Several hundred mostly youthful fans of a hip-hop group gathered downtown on Friday afternoon, a police spokesman said. The reason for the meeting, the police suspect an announcement by the music group on the Internet.
The meeting had sometimes significantly affected road and rail traffic. In addition, several police officers and service dogs from the group were physically attacked. The group was then given a place reference, it said. It is now being checked whether those responsible have to bear the costs of the operation, it said.
