Baden-Württemberg: State checks light off for illuminated buildings at night

Stuttgart (dpa/lsw) - In order to save energy, Baden-Württemberg is considering no longer illuminating state-owned buildings and castles with light at night. A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Finance said on Wednesday in Stuttgart. But that is not possible everywhere. This is not the case with buildings in which, for example, a restaurant is operated or where security issues are concerned. The spokeswoman was initially unable to say when a decision on the question should be made.
