Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Even after the start of the training year, there are still numerous open apprenticeships for young people in Baden-Württemberg. Economics Minister Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut (CDU) said in Stuttgart: "That's why I encourage all young people who are toying with the idea of doing an apprenticeship: You can still start now and lay the foundation for a successful career with an apprenticeship." A lot of practice in the company and a training allowance from day one are just two good reasons to start now.
According to the regional directorate of the Employment Agency, 29,979 vacant training positions were still registered in August 2022. These contrasted with 9017 people who were not cared for, i.e. still searching.
