Böblingen (dpa / lsw) - The federal police are recording more and more illegal entries from Switzerland to Germany. By the end of October, 3,055 people had been found who had crossed the border to Baden-Württemberg from the neighboring country without permission, as the federal police announced on Friday in Böblingen. Last year there were only 2109 people. The vast majority of migrants come from Afghanistan, Syria and Tunisia. Initially, several media had reported on the topic.
Especially in the past few months, the number of unauthorized border crossings has skyrocketed. In January there were 217, in July 345, in August 481 and in September 864 people.
