Stuttgart (dpa/lsw) - Stuttgart Airport, which has been hit hard by the Corona crisis, expects between 400,000 and 500,000 passengers for the two weeks of vacation after Pentecost. This was announced by a spokeswoman on Friday. In the record year 2019 before the pandemic, 700,000 passengers were counted in the same period. The airport's capacity utilization is now around 60 percent of the pre-crisis level.

In the current year, the airport expects around six million passengers. According to earlier information, 3.58 million passengers were counted last year - an increase of 11.5 percent compared to the previous year.
