Reutlingen (dpa / lsw) - The police in Reutlingen caught a 55-year-old man who is said to have sexually abused several children between the ages of 9 and 14 for years. He is also said to have photographed children and in some cases distributed the child pornographic images, as the police and the Tübingen public prosecutor announced on Tuesday.

The accused had apparently initiated contact with the victims as part of voluntary activities in youth work and clubs. The police did not provide any further information. The man from the Reutlingen district has been in custody since mid-August.
