Baden-Württemberg: Suspected thieves arrested immediately after the fact

Metzingen/Römerstein (dpa/lsw) - The police caught two suspected tool thieves in Metzingen (Reutlingen district) on Thursday night. In the hours before the arrest, the two men, aged 26 and 44, are said to have broken into three vehicles in Metzingen and Römerstein (also in the Reutlingen district) and stolen numerous tools from them. In all three cases, the theft was noticed and reported to the police, which ultimately led to the arrest of the men. Officers found stolen property worth tens of thousands of euros in the vehicle.
