Baden-Württemberg: The last generation no longer protests in Tübingen

Tübingen (dpa / lsw) - The climate activists of the Last Generation group will no longer carry out protest actions in Tübingen. The spokesman for the climate activists said on Monday.

The agreement was the result of a conversation between Tübingen's Mayor Boris Palmer (Greens, party membership suspended) and four activists from the last generation at the end of February. Palmer himself published his response to the activists on Facebook after the conversation. He supports the group's proposal to "carry out citizen participation at federal level for a climate protection package with the goal of climate neutrality by 2030".

After Hanover, Tübingen and Marburg are the next cities to join forces with the group.
