Jettingen (dpa/lsw) - During a failed overtaking maneuver in Jettingen (Boeblingen district) on Wednesday evening, three people were injured, two of them seriously. A 50-year-old woman drove her car out of a roundabout and stopped shortly thereafter to turn left onto a dirt road, the police said on Thursday night. A 40-year-old driver coming out of the roundabout overlooked the woman turning, swerved to overtake and crashed into the woman's car. The woman's car overturned as a result of the impact and ended up lying on its roof in a field. The driver and her 59-year-old passenger were seriously injured, the 40-year-old slightly. The injured were taken to hospitals.
