Göppingen (dpa / lsw) - Captain Tim Kneule has extended his contract with the Bundesliga handball team Frisch Auf Göppingen. The playmaker will play for the club for another year, as the Göppingen announced after the 31:29 win against Benfica in the European League on Tuesday evening. Kneule has worn the FAG jersey since 2006.
"With his experience and his qualities in defense and attack, he is still a very stable and important factor in our game," said sporting director Christian Schöne about the 36-year-old. "In addition, as captain, he assumes responsibility both on and off the field and is an absolute identification figure."
