Baden-Württemberg: tires burst? Car rolls over onto A8, driver dead

Merklingen (dpa / lsw) - A suspected burst tire killed a van driver on the A8 near Merklingen. The man was traveling in the direction of Stuttgart on Tuesday evening when he left the road with his vehicle, rolled over and came to rest behind the guardrail, as the police headquarters in Ulm announced in the evening. The investigators suspect that a burst tire caused the accident in the Alb-Donau district. The man reportedly died at the scene of the accident. Further details were not initially known.
