Mannheim (dpa/lsw) - The Adler Mannheim have completed their preparation program for the new season in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). In addition to the four fixed test games in August, the Adler will take part in the Energie Steiermark Trophy in Graz on September 9th and 10th, as the club announced on Tuesday evening.
At the start, the Kurpfälzer meet the host Moser Medical Graz 99ers. The final will take place on the second day of the tournament. Also present are Motor Ceske Budejovice from the Czech Republic and the Slovakian club HK Nitra.
"These two more friendlies give us another opportunity to check our level of performance right before the league starts," said Adler manager Jan-Axel Alavaara. "The international field of participants guarantees us a varied and high-quality preparatory course."
