Baden-Württemberg: Two injured after an accident with a cable car

Kappel-Grafenhausen (dpa/lsw) - Two people were injured during a ride on a cable car in an amusement park - including an eight-year-old child. Both passengers had to be treated in a clinic after the accident in Kappel-Grafenhausen (Ortenaukreis), the police said on Monday. The child was injured in the foot, a 33-year-old in the hand. It was initially unclear how the accident on Sunday could have happened. The police are investigating whether a technical defect is to blame. For safety reasons, the operation of the affected cable car was stopped.
