Reilingen (dpa / lsw) - Two people were injured in an accident with a tanker truck on Autobahn 6 near Reilingen (Rhein-Neckar district). According to the police, a fire hazard was prevented because the fire brigade cooled the tank with water. The tank truck was therefore traveling with the combustible gas dimethyl ether. He had hit a vehicle on Tuesday after another accident had occurred at the site.
Two people came to the hospital. Nothing was known about the severity of their injuries, and the course of the accident was initially unclear. At times, the motorway towards Mannheim was completely closed. Traffic in the left lane was diverted past the scene of the accident. The cleaning and rescue work continued.
