Baden-Württemberg: Two-year-old child drowns in a garden pond

Spechbach (dpa / lsw) - A two-year-old child drowned in Spechbach (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis) in a garden pond. It had left the house unnoticed on Saturday morning, the police said. When the family noticed this, they started a search operation together with acquaintances and rescue workers. The child was found lifeless in a garden pond. An emergency doctor who was called determined the death. The police are investigating the exact background of the incident.
