Baden-Württemberg: Union: More money for employees in the sugar industry

Hamburg (dpa / lsw) - According to union information, the approximately 5,500 employees at Nordzucker, Südzucker, Pfeifer and Langen and Consun Beet Company will receive more money from April. This was announced by the Food, Enjoyment and Restaurants Union (NGG) on Wednesday in Hamburg. Overall, wages for employees in the sugar industry will increase by 7.5 percent in two steps. There is an additional 200 euros for trainees. According to the notification, the collective agreement can be terminated on March 31, 2024.
