Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Despite the summer holidays in all federal states except Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, it was "relatively quiet" on Saturday on the roads in the south-west, according to ADAC. As expected, the volume of traffic increased in the course of the morning. According to the traffic control center of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior, there were no unusual traffic jams. Nowhere was it backed up for ten kilometers or more. On the Autobahn 8 between Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, traffic was blocked for up to eight kilometers. Due to construction work, the road is narrowed to one lane in one section.
It was particularly jammed on Saturday in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and on the Autobahn 8 in Bavaria, as a spokesman for the ADAC said.
