Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - In the ongoing wage dispute, the Verdi union has called on employees of Südwestrundfunk (SWR) for (today) Thursday to a warning strike. From the point of view of the union, previous offers from the employer side are insufficient, as Verdi announced in Stuttgart.
Possible effects of the action on the work of the station were initially not foreseeable, as a spokeswoman for SWR said on request in Stuttgart.
Verdi reported that workers had been called for a warning strike for the third time. According to the union, collective bargaining has been going on since the summer - it is demanding an average wage increase of 6.5 percent.
The sixth round of negotiations is therefore planned for next Thursday (October 27th). Negotiations are also being made in other public broadcasters.
