Baden-Württemberg: Warm Wednesday, warmer Thursday in Baden-Württemberg

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - After it was well over 30 degrees warm in almost all of Baden-Württemberg on Wednesday, Thursday should exceed these temperatures again. In Bad Mergentheim (Main-Tauber district), the highest temperature in the country was measured at almost 36 degrees, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Wednesday. The 35 degree mark was reached in many cities. Only at higher altitudes south of the Danube, around Ulm and on the eastern part of Lake Constance were there temperatures of 30 degrees or less.

It should be a little milder on Thursday night. Temperatures can drop to 17 degrees. Locally there can also be tropical nights over 20 degrees.

On Thursday it should be up to three degrees warmer than on Wednesday. Temperatures of up to 39 degrees can be reached along the Rhine. The night to Friday is also supposed to be muggy due to rising clouds.
