The thunderstorm front is moving from the southwest to the northeast, said a spokesman for the German Weather Service. In some places, a lot of lightning and 60 liters of rain per hour and square meter can be expected. Hailstones up to three centimeters in size could also fall. Storm gusts with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour are also possible. In the late afternoon there was already a heavy thunderstorm on the Danube between Sigmaringen and Riedlingen, the spokesman said.
