Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Stuttgart Airport expects hardly any restrictions for passengers in view of a warning strike announced for Wednesday. A spokeswoman for the airport said on Tuesday that four Lufthansa flights from Stuttgart to Munich and back had been canceled. She did not expect any further consequences.
The Verdi union has called on around 20,000 Lufthansa ground workers to go on a one-day warning strike to increase the pressure on the ongoing wage negotiations. As a result, Lufthansa canceled almost the entire flight program at its German hubs in Frankfurt and Munich.
