Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Always on the go, rarely in the same place for long: the nomadic life of showmen's children cannot always be combined well with school lessons, says Michael Widmann, the founder of the "Wasenschule". That's why around 30 children are learning from showmen and women in a classroom right next to the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart again this year.
In one-to-one supervision, they can catch up on material that they miss in their home school in the "Wasenschule". Education sponsors - for example retired teachers or education students - support them, while partygoers and folk festival fans sit a few hundred meters away in the festival tents.
