Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - The Karlsruhe police stopped a wedding parade because several sports cars had repeatedly slowed down traffic on Autobahn 5 to a standstill. At the Karlsruhe-Süd junction, they left the autobahn and continued their dangerous driving maneuvers on a state road in the direction of Karlsruhe, officials said on Monday. Police patrols were finally able to stop the cars on Saturday and check the drivers. They were now threatened with investigations into coercion and dangerous interventions in road traffic.
Again and again wedding parades cause problems - because of risky driving styles, because the vehicles are shot in the air or sometimes a motorway is blocked, as in 2019 in North Rhine-Westphalia. A car was parked across the roadway. Another car let the tires smoke in front of the car with the bride.
