Baden-Württemberg: wooden beams fall on workers: three injured

Adelmannsfelden (dpa / lsw) - Several wooden beams fell on workers during the construction of a warehouse in the Ostalb district. Three men were moderately injured in the accident in Adelmannsfelden and taken to hospitals, the police said on Wednesday. The six crossbars fell on the men from a height of about five meters after they had been pushed into metal brackets but not yet fastened there. The beams would have come loose on Tuesday "probably due to tension in the basic structure," the police said.
