Holzkirchen (dpa / lby) - A 16-year-old driver was in a chase with the police on the A8 in Upper Bavaria. The teenager was waving on the highway from Saturday to Sunday, the police said on Sunday. Sometimes he drove too fast at 200 kilometers per hour and almost caused accidents several times. In addition, due to his age, he did not have a driver's license.
The 16-year-old ignored the stop signals from the police, who had started the pursuit near Holzkirchen (Miesbach district). He was stopped more than 20 kilometers further in Taufkirchen (Munich district). Previously, the driver had driven the wrong way around at a roundabout at 90 kilometers per hour. He changed seats with his 22-year-old passenger, but officers overheard this. A voluntary alcohol test of the youth showed 0.8 per thousand. In addition to several criminal proceedings, it must now also be clarified whether he is still allowed to get a driver's license.
