Kulmbach (dpa / lby) - A 60-year-old hit a police officer in Upper Franconia in the face with his fist and injured him. The officer required hospital treatment and was unable to continue on duty, police said on Sunday. Employees of a supermarket in Kulmbach called the police because the man is said to have insulted and threatened them. Even when the officials wanted to record his personal details, he behaved aggressively and finally struck. The police took him to the ground and handcuffed him.
According to the police, several family members also interfered in his arrest. The police officers issued several place references. They had to tie up a woman for a short time. There are now several criminal proceedings against the 60-year-old, including for assault, assault and resistance against law enforcement officials.
