Bavaria: 73-year-old died in an accident in Weißenstädter See

Weißenstadt (dpa / lby) - A 73-year-old died in an accident in Weißenstädter See (Wunsiedel district). According to the police, witnesses saw the woman fall off her stand-up board on Monday and sink into the lake. First responders would have tried to get to her. But they would not have found the woman in the murky water. The police, rescue service, fire brigade and DLRG then searched for her. Divers found the body two hours later. The woman is said to come from the Upper Palatinate district of Amberg-Sulzbach.
