Dinkelsbühl (dpa/lby) - A woman was killed in an accident in a parking lot in Dinkelsbühl in Middle Franconia. There was also one seriously injured and three slightly injured, the police said. According to previous investigations, an 85-year-old drove into the front door of a supermarket in the Ansbach district at high speed when parking out on Wednesday morning.
The car hit a 73-year-old and a 68-year-old. The woman died at the scene of the accident despite immediate resuscitation measures. The man was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter. Two other people suffered shock.
The 85-year-old driver also suffered a shock, his 81-year-old passenger was unharmed. The police have yet to determine the exact cause of the accident.
