Nordheim vor der Rhön (dpa / lby) - An 86-year-old climbed over a 1.80 meter high fence of a retirement home in Lower Franconia. The woman with dementia was physically fit and still "walked well", the police said on Tuesday. She then went for a walk through the area in Nordheim vor der Rhön (Rhoen-Grabfeld district). The daughter organized the search and found her mother. The elderly woman was returned to the dormitory. The incident was on Monday.
