Bavaria: 87-year-old dies after an accident in the parking lot

Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - An 87-year-old died after a collision with a forklift in Nuremberg. The senior walked through the parking lot of a beverage store with his walker on Wednesday, according to a police statement on Thursday. The 29-year-old driver of a forklift saw the man and ran over his foot. The 87-year-old fell and was seriously injured. Rescue workers took him to the hospital, where he died. The police are investigating the driver of the forklift for negligent homicide.
