Bavaria: 90-year-old dies in Lake Starnberg

Feldafing (dpa / lby) - A 90-year-old died while swimming in Lake Starnberg in Upper Bavaria. The senior citizen went swimming near Feldafing (Starnberg district) on Friday and was found floating lifeless in the water a short time later, the police said on Saturday. Rescue workers were able to quickly rescue the woman and tried to revive her - but this was unsuccessful. The exact course of the accident was unknown, but the police currently assume that the elderly drowned.
