Gefrees (dpa / lby) - A driver caused a rear-end collision on the A9 in Upper Franconia with 17 injured - the driver and his passenger were seriously injured. The police announced this late in the evening. The A9 was initially closed in the direction of Berlin after the accident near Gefrees (Bayreuth district). According to the police, a 71-year-old drove into the car of a 40-year-old man in the middle lane. Both cars then crashed into other vehicles.
