Wurmannsquick (dpa/lby) - A 58-year-old from Austria was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident with a very rare historic machine in Lower Bavaria. The man and an acquaintance were on their motorbikes towards Wurmannsquick (Rottal-Inn district) on Sunday when a car suddenly turned right in front of them. According to the police, the 58-year-old skidded while braking and fell. He was taken to the hospital. The man was traveling on a "Münch" brand motorcycle that was coveted by collectors and only a few hundred examples of this had been built in the 1960s and 1970s. The police therefore estimated the property damage at a mid five-digit sum.
