Neuburg an der Kammel (dpa/lby) - He just wanted to drill a hole in the wall, but came out in the neighbors' apartment: unsuccessful home improvement work led to a serious dispute among tenants of an apartment building in Swabia. After mutual shoving, slaps followed, the police said on Wednesday.
A 34-year-old had used a drill when renovating his apartment on Tuesday in Neuburg an der Kammel (Günzburg district). He accidentally pierced the wall of the bathroom in the neighboring apartment.
The 34-year-old and the affected neighbor first examined the damage together, but then the argument broke out, said a police spokeswoman. Both are now being investigated for assault, among other things.
