Bavaria: Alleged bomb find in customs operations

Rosenheim (dpa / lby) - An alleged bomb was found during a large-scale search in the office of a security company in the Rosenheim district. As the main customs office in Rosenheim announced on Tuesday, an explosives clearance squad evacuated the rooms during the operation on August 10 before the dummy bomb was recognized and destroyed. German and Austrian investigators and 60 emergency services searched five private and business premises of the company on suspicion of undeclared work in the Salzburg region and in the Rosenheim district. Because the managing director has a criminal record, special forces were also on site for two operations.
