Heidenheim (dpa / lby) - In order to be driven home, a man in Middle Franconia dialed the emergency call and faked a stroke. The 51-year-old from the Heidenheim region (Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen district) was "unconvincing", which is why he is now expected to report abuse of emergency calls, the police said on Monday.
It was the third time that the man had dialed 911 to be driven home. Instead of a stroke, the emergency services found the 51-year-old had more than two parts per thousand alcohol on Sunday.
