Ingolstadt (dpa / lby) - A man injured a 55-year-old with several kicks to the head in Ingolstadt and is therefore in custody. As a police spokesman said on Tuesday, the 36-year-old attacked the woman during a conversation in a residential complex on Monday. She probably fell to the ground, after which the man kicked her in the head several times. A passer-by called 911. The 36-year-old, known to the police, was arrested and brought before an investigating judge.
The 55-year-old woman was taken to a hospital and will probably be released on Tuesday. The reasons for the attack were unclear, it was said. The 36-year-old is a neighbor of the woman. Police are now investigating attempted murder.
