Bavaria: Block processing causes a long traffic jam in Upper Bavaria

Kufstein (dpa / lby) - The block handling in Tyrol has again caused a long backlog on the Bavarian side. According to the Rosenheim traffic police, the Austrian authorities only allowed 100 trucks per hour to pass in the direction of Innsbruck on Thursday morning. The number was later increased to 300 trucks per hour. At 10.00 a.m. the block handling was finished. On the Autobahn 93 and 8, waiting trucks were backed up for up to 32 kilometers. A week ago there was a traffic jam of up to 50 kilometers in length in Upper Bavaria due to the block handling in the direction of Tyrol.
