Wegscheid (dpa / lby) - After the fire in a family house in Lower Bavaria, a body was found under the rubble. It is assumed that it is the 70-year-old resident, the police said on Saturday. The man lived alone in the house in Wegscheid (Passau district). The cause of the fire is still unclear.
When the rescue workers arrived on Saturday night, the 70-year-old was missing. Later that afternoon, firefighters were able to re-enter the largely cooled home and found the body, which has yet to be identified. The property damage is estimated at 110,000 euros.
