Bavaria: Bub crashes into the turnstile while skiing: seriously injured

Scheffau (dpa / lby) - A ten-year-old boy from the Upper Palatinate crashed into a turnstile while skiing in Tyrol and was seriously injured. The boy from the Regensburg district was unable to brake in time in front of the valley station in a ski area in Scheffau, the Tyrolean state police said. In the accident on Thursday, the ten-year-old suffered serious injuries to his thigh. He was flown to a clinic in a helicopter.
