As the police announced on Monday, the mother had not seen the child in the bathing bay in Marktsteft (Kitzingen district) on Sunday evening. She called loudly for him. An 18-year-old discovered the child under the water surface and brought it to shore. There, witnesses provided first aid. The boy was in mortal danger and was taken to a hospital. According to the police, there was no evidence of third-party negligence.
