Bavaria: car collides with train: two slightly injured

Weißenohe (dpa / lby) - When a car collided with a regional train, two people were slightly injured in Weißenohe (Forchheim district). According to a police spokesman, the 54-year-old driver overlooked an approaching regional train when he drove into the track area on Thursday evening. The vehicle then collided with the train. It was thrown off the track. The train driver had previously initiated an emergency stop. The driver and his passenger suffered minor injuries. The train was able to continue its journey after the accident was recorded. All passengers on the train were unharmed.
