Nördlingen (dpa / lby) - In the Swabian town of Nördlingen, a wagon on a regional train derailed. This resulted in damage of around 350,000 euros, as a police spokesman announced on Thursday. The approximately 15 passengers got out unharmed through the first doors of the train on Wednesday.
It was not clear why the wagon jumped off the rails. The federal police are investigating. It was not yet known when the route would be reopened. The train provides a replacement service. Several media had previously reported.
