Schweiterkirchen (dpa/lby) - A car rolled over on the A9 in Upper Bavaria - two people were seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. A 29-year-old had tried on Saturday on the Autobahn near Schhöhenkirchen (Pfaffenhofen district) to switch his car to the middle lane and overlooked the car of a 29-year-old, the police said on Sunday.
The cars collided sideways. The 29-year-old was first thrown into the left lane and finally against the concrete barrier. As a result of the impact, the car took off and rolled over several times. While the suspected cause of the accident remained unharmed, both the 29-year-old and her 31-year-old passenger were seriously injured. The A9 had to be completely closed for half an hour.
