Wittislingen (dpa / lby) - In Swabia, two cars apparently crashed head-on into each other at 100 kilometers per hour. A driver was seriously injured, the person who caused the accident at the wheel of the other car was moderately injured, the police said on Sunday in Dillingen an der Donau. The 29-year-old with a blood alcohol level of 1.5 was on Saturday near Wittislingen (district of Dillingen an der Donau) in a curve, initially for an unknown reason, came into the opposite lane and collided there with the car of the 52-year-old.
The 29-year-old had to give up his driver's license. According to the announcement, he now has to answer for endangering road traffic and negligent bodily harm.
The 52-year-old who was trapped by the impact was cut out by the fire department. Both drivers were taken to hospitals, and the 52-year-old was transported by rescue helicopter. The cars were completely destroyed in the collision.
