Graefenberg (dpa / lby) - A 55-year-old man was seriously injured in his back when he fell from the "brittle wall" climbing rock in Thuisbrunn in Franconian Switzerland (Forchheim district). The police in Ebermannstadt announced on Saturday that he had fallen to the ground from a height of about two meters and landed on a stone because of a mistake with the climbing rope. The mountain rescue service cared for the fallen. A rescue helicopter brought him from the rough terrain to a hospital in Nuremberg.
