Bavaria: Cloudy weather in Bavaria

Munich (dpa/lby) - A dense cloud cover, rain and cool temperatures - the Christmas holidays ended in Bavaria on Sunday with largely cloudy weather. Only at the edge of the Alps did the sun appear in between. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), it should continue gray and cold on Monday. Showers and snowfall above 800 meters can be expected, especially from the afternoon. The temperatures should then be between three and nine degrees Celsius. In the night of Tuesday, the snow line is expected to drop to 600 meters, it said. At temperatures between zero and four degrees, it could be smooth in places.
