Bischofsheim i.d. Rhön (dpa / lby) - A 27-year-old died in a head-on collision on federal highway 279 in Lower Franconia on Thursday. Six other car occupants were injured, the police said in the evening. According to initial findings, a car with five people traveling in the direction of Neustadt wanted to overtake several other vehicles. At Bischofsheim i.d.Rhön, the car collided head-on with an oncoming mobile home. Inside were two people.
All seven occupants of the vehicle were injured in the accident around 10 a.m., some of them seriously, it said. A 27-year-old who was in the car died in hospital.
