Treuchtlingen (dpa / lby) - A 40-year-old cyclist was run over by a car in Central Franconia and died. The rescue service tried to revive the man on the spot on Saturday evening, but was unsuccessful, the police said.
According to the information, the course of the accident on the B2 near Treuchtlingen (Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen district) initially remained unclear. Whether the cyclist was previously lying on the road or was hit by the car and he fell is now the subject of the investigation. The bike and the car were secured and an expert was called in.
